Bloons 2 Review

Here we are again with our funky monkey firing his darts to pop the bloons so that you achieve your target. All the levels differ in that some require you to pop all the bloons to achieve your target while others just require a certain amount. There are an amazing 100 levels to this game all connected by a map of the world plus in order to move from one area to the next which are all themed you have to complete each one. Each of these worlds brings a different subject to the theme so making it more varied and interesting than the other games before it.

Bloons 2 has new power up features to help you achieve your targets one of which is a fighter aeroplane that can barge right through large groups of balloons. There are of course the usual boomerangs plus also the multi shooting darts option. Some of the bloons contain bees that swarm once you pop them while holding the cursor down and guiding them you will pop even more of the bloons. These however can be very difficult to use as the bees deteriorate very fast so you must be very accurate when controlling their movement. Some bloons also change into flowers while there are bloons that disappear plus bloons that explode, just about every balloon possible! This variety makes the game exciting and varied plus a little more challenging which in turn is more interesting.

Bloons 2 gets more difficult the further along you play - the norm for any game, while reaching the ice themed world takes skill making the game much more challenging by this stage. Should you find yourself in difficulties when you reach here there is help at hand in the form of a skip feature to let you bypass a level (most avid players will not want to do this) using a super monkey who blasts everything in sight or the hint feature that shows you how to finish a level (you may not feel as though your failing using this function)

Bloons 2 is a fantastic follow on to the first bunch of bloons games adding more features and characters including the laser eyed monkey with laser vision to make it far more visually appealing plus very exciting. Time wise it will keep you well occupied for a good number of days plus from the fun aspect it is extremely amusing.
