Bloons Player Pack 5 Review
Bloons player pack 5 is a fantastic follow on game to its predecessors being a seasonal release that sees a Christmas theme throughout. It is colourful, imaginative plus lots of fun to play so will keep even the most avid bloons player riveted. The graphics are great and filled with Christmas fun, the sound effects are fantastic plus there are some unusual festive decorations and twists making this a not to miss gift at that special time of year
Player pack 5 has 50 exciting levels while the game play is as usual with monkey (in his festive Christmas Santa hat) firing his darts to pop the bloons and so complete the levels. The mouse is used to hold and fire your darts plus as with former bloons games all darts have to be used on that level they cannot be carried over. There is an unlimited dart mode should you wish to play that way or you can just play the regular way to test your skill.
There is also another game linked to the menu that is easier so aimed at children. It has easier levels to conquer plus slower speed and bigger darts to fire. This is a great added bonus at Christmas time, but back to the main game. The Christmas theme runs throughout all the levels with one level being a gingerbread man made of brown rubber blocks. The bloons are the eyes and buttons of the gingerbread man so you have to penetrate the blocks to pop the bloons.
The next level is a snowman made of bloons but in order to pop them you need to hit the two bomb bloons that are the eyes so cascading the darts down to complete the level. Next is the Grinch followed by the next level that sees Santa monkey on his sleigh with reindeer. Another level has stocking stuffers plus there is a level with a Christmas tree made up of bomb bloons. It really is great fun popping all these seasonal targets and feels appropriate for this time of year.
Level 20 sees a snowball fight that is great fun, then level 22 has Christmas light bloons to pop and is really colourful. This game is a must for bloon fans, it is imaginative and full of surprises along the way so will give you hours of festive fun.
