Bloons Tower Defense 3

Bloons Tower defense 3 is the follow up to game 2 and is packed with lots of new features including different layouts plus designs for the tower defences. There are 8 new tracks to choose from, new monkeys and the game play is greatly upgraded.

The new bloon tracks are as follows

1. A grass covered race circuit with great detail within the colourful graphics
2. A layered chocolate cake coloured track again with good detail
3. A turquoise blue coloured track with a mechanical look to it
4. A snow scene track, very pretty
5. A track shaped like the popular monkey himself, very quirky
6. A track made from volcanic lava containing cross over points that make bloons attack from 3 separate points
7. Another multiple path track in green which is less easy to get through
8. Lastly the most difficult of all is the track shaped like a tube where bloons attack from all angles

The game has once again 3 difficulty levels easy, medium or hard while it is beneficial to note that seasoned players of bloons tower defence games may find it better to try the hardest level as the other 2 levels may prove a little easy. The aim of the game is as ever to pop as many bloons as possible as they come careering along, while balloons are also contained within other balloons making it harder to get rid of them, also in game three there can be as many as 12 of them contained within one bloon. There are new porcelain bloons that take multiple hits to pop plus the MOAB bloon (Mother of all bombs) shaped like the old zeppelin which takes a huge number of strikes to open only for it to release many more bloons. Watch out for these bloons in particular:

1. Red bloons, these pop with one shot
2. Blue bloons that contain red bloons so require 2 pops
3. Green bloons have blue bloons within so need 3 hits
4. Yellow bloons contain green so needing 4 hits
5. White and black require 5 hits
6. Multi colour has white and black bloons in so requires 6 pops
7. Lead bloons contain numerous black bloons that take loads of hits to eliminate them
8. Rough brown bloons that contain many different coloured bloons that are very difficult to get rid of.

This game has 2 upgrades per tower which is much more generous plus new towers to get your excitement ignited even further. They are

1. Monkey beacon tower which allows the right to use a special weapon plus your attack range is increased within the beacon area
2. Spike o pult tower which fires a massive spiked ball that pops just about everything and you can upgrade this feature to improve range speed and shot plus it will allow the tower to release 3 spiked balls at once with devastating effect

A top secret weapon can be obtained after building the monkey beacon tower and upgrading it to its total capacity. There is also a pineapple bomb that you can place anywhere on a track plus 2nd tier upgrades are available for all towers not just the new ones to this game. A great example of this is the monkey that throws the boomerang he can be upgraded to a star throwing ninja monkey, how cool is that! This tower is great for popping lead bloons so bear that in mind.

One to watch out for is the ship in round 37 which will require a super monkey to be in place to stop this ship in its tracks. This ship blows up releasing hundreds of bloons that you need to eliminate before reaching the end of the track or your doomed. Super monkey with his laser eyes can eliminate a myriad of bloons in one fail swoop so his help is imperative.

bloons tower defense 3 is a great bloons defense game that will keep you enthralled for hours. The graphics are superb while the free play mode that is available in this game allows you to play indefinitely plus lets you earn more cash and unlock more towers than you would otherwise be able to in a regular game. This is a fantastic follow up to the previous bloon tower defense games.
